Debbie Bryanton
How can we do better next time?

Debbie Bryanton moved to PE in 1984 following a career in retail management in Moncton and Toronto. Her career brought her to Charlottetown where she quickly fell in love with the Island's beauty. Debbie transitioned from retail to owning several cottage/accommodations and a roofing business until her official retirement in 2008.

At the age of five she told her mom, "When I retire I am going to garden and paint pictures." Well, she's done both! As an artist, Debbie has won the PEI Beautification Award in price County, co-founded the Kensington Art Gallery Co-op, participated in the Summerside Arts Festival and in numberous art shows at the Eptek Centre and the Lefergy Centre.

Debbie started out as a self-taught artist but has taken online classes and in-person with several local artists: Ann Gallant, Maurine Bernard, Lize Genova, in addition to participating in classes held in Florida. Debbie loves working with oils and acrylics and is known for her steganograply which she places in all her works in honour of and in thanks to God for giving her the gift of painting.

In addition to her art shows, selling original prints and gift cards through the Kensington Art Gallery, Debbie has also done commissioned work.
